The name i registered with for my collegeboard account isn’t my legal name, but the name I go by. Should I send my scores anyway? Assuming all the other info (ssn, date of birth, etc. are all correct). I called CB to get it changed, but the guy said as long as the other stuff was correct, it doesn’t matter, because colleges identify you by your SSN.

It depends. If you just use the diminutive of your first name or a nickname but everything else is the same, it’s not a problem. If it is completely different, it is a huge one.

Colleges ask for nicknames, and other names that you go by, so make sure that you list it there as well.

Well it was the difference between my Chinese name and my English name, so the two are completely different. I did list my English name under “nickname” in the application though. Anybody else?
