Anybody on this site familiar with Valdosta State University? My friend is trying to get accepted there and he is not sure about his ACT scores and GPA. He has a 2.8 GPA, and a ACT composite of 18 (19 English 17 Math). On the website it says you must have a composite of 19(he’s just one point off) and 17 on both English and Math. He meets the freshman index, and I’m assuming you have to have atleast a 2.5 GPA or higher. This is his last time taking an ACT/SAT. Does he have any chances of getting accepted?

Can’t he take it again?

2) Test Requirement (either test):

A minimum total score of 900 SAT (Math and Critical Reading only) or an ACT Composite of 19.

And Georgia State Board of Regents minimum requirements for each section of the test (of at least): 430 Critical Reading (SAT subscore) 400 Math (SAT subscore) OR 17 English (ACT subscore) 17 Math (ACT subscore)

Nope, I’m sorry. If he can’t take the ACT again, he should try to take the SAT.

He wants to get in for the fall semester, he’ll have to take it in the summer and attend VSU in the winter. He doesn’t want to do that, I was just wondering if he probably could get accepted because I heard VSU accepts almost anybody
