Please help!

Let me start of by saying that I definately want to go to graduate school and get an MBA. I am interested in studying Econ, Geography, or International Relations for undergrad.

Im from denver, colorado just fyi.

Vermont- $15,000 per year w/honors

BC- $45,000 per year

UCLA- $30,000 per year

U of Miami- $26,000 per year w/ honors

Syracuse- $22,000 per year w/ honors.

Thank You for any help!!!

I’d go with BC or UCLA

BC has a really great International Studies major, and econ’s up there too

Depends how big of an issue money is for you

Money is a fairly big issue, cause I dont want to be up to my waist in debt and than try to pay for graduate school. The deal is that my parents will contribute $15,000 wherever I go. BC was my favorite but cost scares me. Vermont is obviously the best price and I liked it. And UCLA seems to good to pass up. Thanks for the help…but i still need more. lol. thanks.

Those are all really great schools. If money is a pretty big issue then maybe you should go with Vermont or Syracuse…but if you could really see yourself better at BC or UCLA then maybe you should ignore the cost and go with your instincts.

Also, sorry if this is too personal, but what kind of credentials did you have to get honors at Syracuse?? (I am very interested in applying, but it is very expensive and a scholarship would be great!)

Well i mean nothing too special.

32- ACT
Amazing Recs
I thought pretty good essays
And top 5% in a class of 700

Also if this changes anything, I honestly think I would be very happy anywhere, and that’s part of the problem. Im social, get along wiht almost everyone, and like to have a good time. Also im a cut throat competitve person. Basically my smarts got me through high school not my amazing work ethic.

Do the math, and then go to the school that is cheapest for you. The difference in cost is not trivial. The social and academic differences are. You can be happy anywhere. You can get a good education at each of these schools. Save the money for the MBA.

Wishing you all the best.
