please help

I am planning to apply to those colleges:
Berea College
Colby College
Franklin & Marshall College
Ithaca College
Lehigh University
Vassar College
Lake Forest College

Also considering:
University of Notre Dame
Colgate University

As I am international student, I can’t visit campuses, and the only way to learn about colleges is through virtual/photo tours, web sites, forums etc. So, I was hoping that you could help me and tell me smth about mentioned colleges.
what the atmosphere is like, what the social life is like, what are students like, is it easy to fit in…

thanks a lot

tap,
Have you looked at the CC college visits reviews? Here’s the link:

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/visits/

collegiatechoice.com sells DVDs of college tours. The photography values aren’t the best, but they do help give you additional information about a college when you can’t visit.

Berea College Mountaineers - Free tution, lots of international students, very diverse, not too much partying

Colby College Mules - Very preppy, cold, social scene revolves around drinking

Franklin and Marshall College Diplomats - Not sure

Ithaca College Bombers - Not sure

Lehigh University Mountain Hawks - Lots and Lots of partying, not very diverse, play hard work hard

Vassar College Brewers - average party scene, no frats, hippie students

Lake Forest College Foresters - average party scene, not a very difficult school

University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish - work hard party hard, in the fall everything revolves around football

Colgate University Raiders - work hard party hard, not very diverse
