For art supplement, should I also submit an art teacher’s recommendation, or is that unnecessary?

For the chose single activity question, how can I describe my commitment in 300 characters?? It sounds either too general, too abrupt, or arrogant… And should I “show” them or “tell” them?

Thank you so much!!

I think it’s a bit unnecessary.

I totally understand your dilemma. I’m facing the same problem myself. 300 characters is waay too short to describe my most meaningful activity and why it’s the most meaningful. So because of the extremely limited amount of space, I think that to “tell” is better than to “show.” But only in this case since space is of the essence.

Thanks!!! Any other comments?

Unnecessary, unless you have physical recordings or works of art to show for it.

300 characters may seem short, but it is enough. The purpose of it is not so much to show your commitment, but the essence of your contribution to the activity and why that sets you apart from other people.

^to clarify, I am sending ~10 pieces of artworks. I was just wondering if I should also send an art recommendation in addition to the works of art.
