<p>Assignment : Can success be disastrous ?</p>
<pre><code> The presupposition that success can be disastrous is an absolute truth.Although some people would argue that success always results in great consequences, these critics are too dogmatic in their ideology. Success is great, but when it results in bad consequences, it is horrible.An archetype that exemplifies that success doesn’t always result in good consequences is Miley Cyrus from the series ‘Hannah Montana’.
A prominent archetype that exemplifies that success could be horrible is Miley Cyrus from the series ‘Hannah Montana’ . In an episode from the series, Miley wished that all people know that she is Hannah Montana and to live like a super star.At the beginning, she was happy to live like a super star because she was home schooled and didn’t do home works.But afterwards , she discovered that she has got a materialistic step-mother that neither loves Miley nor her dad.Moreover, her brother hated her for being smug and lived away from home, and she lost her best friends. And being famous , wherever she went people ran after her. So she took back her wish and became a regular girl again.
Yet another archetype is my uncle. He is very successful in SAT. He teaches students how to get a very high score. Because of his success and the number of students who wanted to take tuitions with him, he didn’t have time to sit with his children and his wife. He helps a lot of people but when it comes to people who need him the most, his family, he doesn’t get enough time.
To conclude, the notion that success always results in good consequences is a fallacy that will end in failure. Sometimes success leads to horrible consequences. So, one should be careful what he/she wish for to achieve success without regretting anything.
