OMG-- I thought I posted in appropriate forum… The question is for following schools

UNC Chapel Hill
U Mich
UIUC
Univ of South Cal

Ok…my opinion. I think UNC and Michigan are reaches. U of Southern California probably is as well.

UIUC…maybe…but will it come in at your price point?

What year in high school is this student?

Well…you sort of did… but you never named the colleges!

Unfortunately, all these schools will be above your price range. Your son won’t get financial aid, since he’s not in-state, and doesn’t have the stats for merit scholarships.

Please create a new thread in the chance me / match me forum as others have suggested. You’ll get better answers once we have a more complete picture of your son’s profile.

Has he already applied for college admissions for fall 2024?

If he is hoping for any sort of merit aid…those deadlines mostly have passed.
