Plebe Summer Training Guidelines

<p>Last summer (and since the plebe summer of '06–your cadre’s class), upperclass were not allowed to perform “spot correction” which is ordering plebes to PT (Physical Train) inside bancroft. </p>

<p>No more dropping on faces, doing pushups and staying the front-leaning rest or doing flutter kicks inside for hours. </p>

<p>This came along with a new air-conditioning system. Last summer my room was too cold at night. </p>

<p>This summer, however, they are bringing back PT and spot correction. The twist, is that the cadre have to do it with the plebes, and do just as much as them.</p>

<p>i’m not sure if this means that one cadre can make everyone do pushups, then the next guy starts them on pushups, and so on. </p>

<p>Ya, I heard the same. However, it will be like MPT this year. It will be limited to certain time and certain types of PT. Even though some people might not like on the spot correction, it is better to do 25 pushups than writing the weapons fore to aft on a Destroyer 25 times, no abbreviations.</p>
