<p>What is and goes on at “pledge line” for a fraternity at UT? A friend wanted me to go with her to watch…</p>
<p>i’m not sure what happens, i’m still waiting for my pledge line, but if i’m not mistaken its the induction ceremony for a rushee or pnm to become a pledge…</p>

If it is someone’s “pledge line” fraternity party, the actives don’t invite many women and each new pledge is supposed to bring a fair number of <a href=“beautiful%20freshman”>i</a>* women. These women are, in a joking way, all his “dates” for the evening, although they are really just regular party guests - thus the “pledge line” parties acquire <a href=“beautiful%20freshman”>i</a>* female attendees. :o</p>
<p>do they have to be freshmen and go to UT? cause I have a friend that is going to be in a frat but hes a transfer sophomore, so he probably doesn’t know too many…</p>

<p>Just a normal party where the pledges are in charge of “bringing lots of girls.” If there is a “line” part, it is a minuscule part of the party. No stress. Just a party. Female guests don’t need to be freshmen and don’t need to be UT students. Girlfriends or just-a-friends are fine. The “pledge line” bit is meant to be fun. </p>

<p>Most chapters have the pledges invite 10 dates to pledgeline, and the pledges get hammered drunk while the actives hit on their dates.</p>
<p>There is generally no hazing other than maybe dousing pledges in champagne.</p>
<p>They all line up to get paddled and sodomized at the end of the night, but the part about multiple dates is correct.</p>
