PLME Wannabes

So for all of you who are aspiring to be PLME, because everyone wants to be a doctor, I have realized that half of you (not exact) can’t even utilize the search function. As bruno14 said:

Yes, that means stop asking dumb questions like: What do I need to do to get into the program. What is the program.
A better question would be: How are the advisors? How close are the students in PLME? What special pre-med school opportunities do PLME students get?

Also, please READ READ READ the PLME website before asking. [Brown University: Program in Liberal Medical Education](<a href=“The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University”>The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University)

My biggest question to all of you PLME hopefuls: WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A DOCTOR?
DO NOT ANSWER: I want to help people (automatic rejection…okay not really but almost) and I want to make money (automatic rejection…99.99% sure of that)

I would like to point out that I am not associated with gunit5 in any way and do not endorse this post. In his/her other posts, gunit5 has been extremely hurtful to PLME applicants, saying things such as “don’t try to be good at science if you’re not, you will fail miserably” and this entire post (http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/12568903-post3.html</a>).

Gunit5, I’m disappointed in you, and seriously hoping you aren’t a current PLME student or admit. You’re being extremely hurtful to applicants and making fun of them for asking simple questions. None of this is what the PLME program is about, and I’m ashamed to see you talking about PLME in this way. I hope you apologize to these students.
