<p>Can someone who lives in or is familiar with the Chapel Hill, NC area, recommend a salon that caters to curly hair for my DD?</p>
<p>Looking to next year when she will be seeking interviews for internships, we have talked about getting a more grownup look. A curly style that she can wear on a daily basis without a lot of fuss but look professional, would be ideal. </p>
<p>The problem is finding the right salon. Most salons just want to blow dry her hair straight… In the past, she tried japanese straightening but not only is it very expensive, it requires that it be touched up every few months. The new growth against the pin straight hair looks awful. Also, it does not allow for wearing your hair other than straight. </p>
<p>If anyone can suggest a place that can do a fabulous curly cut, it would be helpful. Asking friends/classmates has not been fruitful so I thought I would reach out to a much larger audience on her behalf. I think she can also get to Raleigh, Carrboro and Durham</p>
