Plsssss read my transfer plan here

I am an international student (Freshmen) at UW-Madison.
I would predict myself having a 3.7+ GPA for the first semester.

Here is my plan:
Apply for sophomore transfer to UPenn and Cornell
Apply for junior transfer to UCB; UVA; and Cornell if I can’t be admitted to Penn and Cornell.

How’s the plan here? And is professor’s recommendation important to me?

And will Northwestern and Brown be a good choice too?

My dream is to work on Wall Street, and I know UW-Madison is not a target for those companies, so I’m now looking for a target schol.

***To myself clear, UPenn CAS and Cornell AEM
What are my chances here? Is there something like transfer agreement with some CCs in the above mentioned school?

Prof/TA recs are very important for transfers.

Some colleges in Cornell might have transfer agreements with some CCs, check their website. In general, privates do not have transfer agreements, Cornell is special as it is part public and part private. UPenn is private.

You cannot really “predict” your GPA. Come back in December after your grades are in. You may be pleasantly (or unpleasantly) surprised.

^^ at least wait until after midterms before predicting your first semester GPA.
