I have one rec from my math teacher and the other rec I’m getting from my PLTW-Biomedical sciences teacher.
The PLTW-biomedical sciences teacher as taught 3 classes over the last 3 years for me. For a college that says it needs 2 academic subjects teacher LORs, do these 2 qualify? Or do I need to ask a different science teacher.
Do PLTW science courses count as core subject areas?
This is a question for your GC, because every school is going to be different. In DD’s school there is a PLTW class that can count as a core math class, but none of them that I know of count for core science credit. If your PLTW is a DE class and those two teachers are the two most likely to give you the best LORs, I’d think they’ll pass muster.
