U Mich- match probably in
NYU- low reach, better chances if you raise SAT and class rank, possibly in
Berkeley- high reach, since you are OOS probably not in because people with your stats in state get routinely rejected
UT Austin- probably in
Columbia- high reach, probably not in
Yale- high reach, probably not in

Sorry to tell you, but an ORM with mediocre stats really has no chance at Columbia nor Yale
If you raise your SAT to at least 2100 and rank to at least top 10%, Berkeley might consider you

Although still apply to the ivies and Cal, you never know what might happen

ORM - Over Represented Minority - Asian, Indian
URM - Under Represented Minority - Black, Hispanic

Haha, isn’t CC jargon the best?
There have been like twenty people everyday asking what “10char” means so you’re not alone…

U of Michigan Ann Arbor - Reach, but doable, maybe apply early?
NYU - Slight reach/ match, very doable
UC Berkeley - Being out of state, your odds are slim, apply and see what happens?
UT Austin - Match, good odds
Colombia (lol…) - Unlikely, but go for it
Yale U (O.o…sad face) Even more unlikely, but if you don’t apply at all your chances really are 0%

I’m from California, and I have to say your SAT score is a bit too low for UC Berkeley’s liking. Same with Columbia and Yale U, but I think UT Austin and NYU are fine choices for you. Good luck
