Political Communications major?

Although I eventually want to attend Newhouse’s print journalism program, I’m also highly interested in a major in political communications. However, the only decent school I’ve found that offers that major is Bryan College - they’re too evangelical for a heathen like me.

So, even if I had preferred a secular college, do you think that a student from central New York will be able to tolerate an evangelical A+ college in Tennessee? Is there a better alternative for that major?

I’m willing to add Bryan to the list of possibilities, but I really don’t want to be shackled to the Lord for four years for a political communications degree.

George Washington University has a special selective major in political communications. It is a very well respected program.

I suggest you get a basic liberal arts education first. Major in political science or government, if you desire. Then go to Newhouse for a grad degree.
