<p>Especially for undergrad, and especially in common subjects like poli-sci, don’t let departmental reputation swing you one way or another. Differences in departmental reputation in something like poli sci are miniscule compared to subjective factors like how you feel about the neighborhood, architecture, & student body. Visit each university and one should be obviously preferable to the other.</p>
