Does a polsci major hold any weight in the real world? Should I even bother? And, for anyone who knows anything about the Peace Corps, do polsci majors have good acceptance rates?

not completely sure what i want to do after college…

Most of the time, for much of what you do, major does not matter. You may want to do a thread title search for political science to see what other people have done.

If you love political science, you should do it. I am a political science major and have applied for a PhD in the subject. Honestly, political science provides you with a strong base from which you can pursue many outlets. Political science involves critical thinking, strong writing skills, and often gives the student a strong background in history and philosophy. Furthermore, it often involves interdisciplinary study including history, economics, psychology, etc. You can do nearly anything outside of the hard sciences with a degree in poli sci.
