My "Edge"
I worked in the New York City Government for a NYC Councilman in Manhatten

I plan to continue my passion for politics into college so im looking for affordable, yet academically strong poli sci programs

Where I'm Applying:
George Washington University
American University
University of Maryland, College Park
University of Wisconsin, Madison
University of Delaware
SUNY Binghamton
SUNY Albany (Safe School)
SUNY Geneseo

Any suggestions ony my chances at these school would be great, also i was thinking of applying to Georgetown as a reach, but im not sure

Also im a NY resident

If you boosted your SAT score to around 1400, I'd say you'd have a much better chance at better PoliSci programs.

I figure someone who worked for a councilman in MANHATTAN should know how to spell MANHATTAN.

All those schools are either match or safety. Personally, Georgetown you have a minimal chance of getting accepted. I strongly recommend that you retake SAT II Writing, that could hurt you.

sorry about the typo, i honestly didn't mean it, all i need is feedback and advice

no nasty comments please

Also if i could get some feedback on the schools i listed as to what my chances are there, that would be wonderful

Thank you in advance

One thing i forgot to add to the list of stuff, I'm on a championship Varsity Track Team

Your in all the SUNYs, no question.

I'd say you'll get in all the SUNYs, and at least one of the others.

You're in at American University. I agree with the poster who said the SAT II Writing score could hurt you at some schools. Can you retake that test in December?
