Political Science

I want to major in political science i applied to lsu and utexas and got into lsu. i know it is really late but is there any school prefferably in the northeast that is still takin admissions and would be generous with financial aid. My stats are very average 26 act 1730 sat and around a 3.0 gpa

Suny Buffalo, Suny Albany, Seton Hall and St. Josephs ¶.

thanks ^ man

You could look at Ohio State and Michigan State with those stats, but you’d need to look for need-based aid rather than merit aid. Syracuse University could be a possibility too, and I know a poli-sci major at Drew University who got great financial aid.

A 3.0 from OOS is not going to get you into MSU or OSU.

You would probably get into MSU, but you wouldn’t get much money from them.

if i may start a new question, i’ve applied to several colleges and i also want to major in political science. essentially my choices have come down to between xavier university, and the university of pittsburgh (for various reasons). basically i’m wondering which would be the better choice from a strictly academic standpoint.

Another school up north that gives out plenty of scholarship money is St. John’s in NYC, it is expensive but they give out generous scholarships. I’m not sure about their FA though.
