Does anyone know of any politically conservative schools that have a good business school?
I like the learning environment of a conservative school better than being constantly surrounded by liberal professors.
I understand that colleges are generally more on the liberal side but It would prevent a lot of future arguments if I went to a conservative school.
Notre Dame
Pepperdine.
Chicago
BYU
Universities: Texas A&M, SMU, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Lehigh, Wake Forest, UVA
LACs: Washington & Lee, Richmond, Bucknell, Trinity (Connecticut), Claremont McKenna (though the other Claremont colleges are quite liberal)
UNCW’s administration is more on the Republican side, particularly our chancellor (who was once the dean of WVU’s college of business).
Business faculty are more likely to lean right on fiscal and economic issues than other faculty anyway.
Thanks!
I was thinking Texas A&M and SMU also. SMU really has a good business school.
