Poll: Best B-School for Studying Investments

Any thoughts?

Wharton, Stanford, Chicago, Sloan, Columbia, and HBS would be the contenders in my mind. Unsure as to who is #1 (possibly Wharton).

Anyone know of any luminary professors at these schools that might put one over the edge in terms of investment education (along the same vein as Graham & Dodd being @ Columbia when Buffett went there).

There are many different kinds of investment.

For example, name brand PE only recruit at H/S/W. That doesn’t necessarily H/S/W has the best program for investment. I think all those schools are pretty much equal (maybe minus Sloan).

liu, is the “S” in your H/S/W Stanford or Sloan?

When people say S, they normally are referring to Stanford.

If you don’t mind me asking, why is Sloan exception from the OP’s list?
