<p>I’m taking the ACT, because when I took a practice test of both I scored significantly higher, even though I truly hated the actual test.</p>

<p>Eh, I think that if you understand tCB’s standardization techniques it’s much easier to beat the SAT than the ACT, but I got a 35 on the ACT, so I guess I can’t complain. </p>

<p>just wondering what you mean by tcb’s standardization techniques…My daughter is a excellent student but is having trouble on the SATs and Acts…Her scores don’t match her gpa in school. Do you have any suggestions to improve scores</p>

<p>@northern, this really isn’t the place to answer it, but I’ll say it anyways. </p>

<p>The one thing that you have to realize is that every SAT is the same. The questions are different, but the underlying concepts are the same every test. Bet on it. If you selectively study the concepts that appear the most of the SAT and learn to categorize the different question types, your score will improve drastically.</p>

<p>^^Why is a high SAT valued more than a high SAT? What evidence do you have to support that, besides your own biased opinion? I don’t want to start another ACT vs SAT discussion, but it seems you already did.</p>

<p>i scored better on the sat. the science part on the act always throws me off. and i feel like the math curve is harsher on the act.</p>
