Applied ED2, counselor just changed on portal. Did anyone who applied ED1 see any correlation between counselor change and decision, as there has been in recent years? Did anyone who applied ED2 see any change in their counselor in the past couple of days?
Wondering if anyone else applied ED2 and is waiting to hear back! I’m very anxiously waiting 
Applied ED2, counselor did not change. In fact, no change in portal since submission in October.
I got emails from many other LACs applied, but nothing from Pomona, which I thought not a good sign. What about you?
My counselor change was after a couple of days, doubt it meant anything because it switched from the New York State officer to the New York City officer. They probably just filtered through the applicants and ciphered out which were from NYC and which weren’t.
Haven’t gotten any e-mails since I applied, unfortunately. I assumed February 13 at 5pm PST for decisions, but could be wrong. Have you heard anything?
Didn’t hear anything. I also assume decision out on 2/13.

Got an email today requesting my mid-year progress report, assuming this was sent to everyone. The heading of the email was “[name], an update on your Pomona College application” and I got a heart attack when I saw it on my phone, false alarm though 
Wow, the email sounds like a decision is out.
I didn’t get the email, maybe because our school counselor already uploaded mid year report on common app earlier this month. Guess they can download it from there. Anyway, it’s definitely positive to receive the email.
Yeah my counselor still hasn’t put up my mid-year report, so just waiting on that! The deadline to submit it is February 12 though, so I wouldn’t imagine it holds much weight in admissions…
There was an interesting phrase in the email though, saying: “Although we can review your application without your mid-year grades, they will be valuable to the Admissions Committee during our committee deliberations starting in February.” A hint as to when committee deliberations start, likely next week! So no final decisions have been made regarding our applications yet, thank god.
Two more weeks, just couldn’t wait for that long. Anyway, good luck to your applications.
