Does anyone think the ED decisions this year might come out as early as Friday, December 13th, since the 15th falls on a Sunday this year? I know this question might sound crazy from a parent, but this is the first year I’ve had a kid with his heart set on a particular school (enough to apply binding ED), so I’m feeling quite anxious!
Yes, it is this Friday. Posted on Pomona Instagram page.
In 2 days everyone who applied ED to Pomona will know if they got in or not? I’m anxious for my daughter as well.
D25 rejected - we knew it was a reach and no one in the Naviance history from her HS had ever been accepted, but the rejection still stung. She did say that the rejection letter was kind and apologetic.
does anyone have any info on the ED 2 notification date
In past years it has been the Friday before the 15th, which, this year, would be the 14th. I don’t know anything more than that, though. I was hoping it would be today, but no.
I was deferred. Does anyone know how much hope I should have for an acceptance? I know that they are very selective with deferrals. Does this mean that most people that are deferred get in, as long as they have good LOCIs and grade reports? Or do only a small percentage of deferred applicants get accepted? I’ve seen quite a few posts on here and reddit detailing a deferral and then an acceptance, but I haven’t seen any talking about a deferral and a rejection. I’m sure this is selection bias to an extent, I’m wondering to what extent. Has anyone here been deferred and rejected? Thanks!
