hahaha I don’t know where I’ve heard it from then, because I was led to believe that after Berkeley and San Diego (California colleges only) Pomona had a legitimate IR program.

This is the second thread you’ve created Mgarcia. To tell you again, your mom is right. Cal Poly Pomona is not a good school, it isn’t even ranked as a top tier univeristy. There is a reason why it’s known for being Polytechnic since CPP is better known for engineering. Also this is a UC forum, not a CSU.

Guys, just because you got accepted to UC’s doesn’t mean you can start to look down on CSU’s. CSU’s are lower in standard compared to UC’s but it does not mean that they are not even worth considering.
Garcia, it’s no doubt that UC’s are overall better than CSU pomona, but in some particular cases cal poly pomona might be a better option.

You should post this in a more open/general forum than in UC transfers.

nah…i think the UC transfers is the best place to post stuff like this…who else on this forum knows about the public schools of california

also as some of us here messed up in high school, went to community college, and then went/are going to UC’s…we might have applied to the CSU’s in high school and might have some knowledge about them…

if your heart is really set on Cal Poly Pomona…go there and enjoy International Relations
