This represents another example from CC: Bowdoin v. Pomona? Need help deciding! [pre-law, PPE or humanities].

FWIW, D24’s waitlist offer came on Friday (5/10) via email, which she didn’t see until Saturday. She had four days (or until yesterday) to decide.

Did she decide? Best wishes to her — I’ve paid attention to her journey since my S26 is a potential studio art major!

She accepted Pomona’s offer. She really liked Swarthmore (so did I), which has a lot in common with Pomona, but the 5C consortium and closer proximity to home were too good to pass up. The art programs at both schools are similar in size and quality, although Pomona seemingly has better and more extensive facilities.
