<p>We need to do some work on our pool. I like the look of the glass tiles. I have read mixed reviews. Any first hand knowledge?</p>

<p>What part of the country do you live in? MIL/FIL have tiles on their pool and pretty much every year the winter effects cause some of them to come off and have to be reattached. I think it would be better in an area where there wasn’t the constant freeze-thaw issues we have here.</p>
<p>No freeze-thaw issues. Coastal central ca. I need to talk to the pool contractor who is doing the work. I know he suggested due to our expansive soil that we go with 6x6 tiles to hopefully avoid the popping off. I know glass tiles don’t come that big. I like the look of the glass tile but I have a feeling it isn’t going to work in our pool.</p>
<p>We have had the same 4 tiles pop off twice. Also expansive soil.</p>
