Hi everyone! This is my first post here. I’m having lots of difficulty recently maintaining my mandatory straight A’s. Just so you understand where I’m coming from, I’m an Asian female, in sophomore year of high school. My parents are the stereotypical “Asian parents” in that I am an AP/Honors student & what not. During all my years of school, I’ve been expected to upkeep straight A’s. It’s never been a choice… it’s mandatory. However, in my first semester, I got my two first B’s, from AP Biology & Algebra 2 Honors. Starting my second semester, I committed myself to not do better after the harsh punishments my parents gave me. However, yet again, I’m certain to end the semester with another 2 B’s. This time in AP Biology & AP World. As of now, I have an 82% in world (in which it is impossible to bring up), and an 84% in biology, which has a very slim chance to go up.
Every conversation I have with my parents, no matter what it is, ends up with them warning me I can not get a B this semester. However, the don’t know that I’m already guaranteed at least one B. While I’m thoroughly disappointed in myself, I know there’s nothing else I can do but try harder as a junior. Can anyone tell me if I can still get into a good college with 3 or 4 B’s in my sophomore year? And also, any advice in talking to my parents? (They’re very hard-headed & will never, ever listen to what I have to say.)

6th: Tennis - A both semesters

**I understand my biology grade is not outstanding like most others, but I take a lot of interest in this subject & truly hope to be a veterinarian someday.
Sorry for the really long entry, but I’m freaking out right now, & I can’t afford to disappoint more people, especially my parents & ultimately myself. Any help would truly be appreciated.
