<p>Last week I received a letter confirming that my file was complete. Then this morning I received an email that the first letter was sent in error. The email then said that my common application is missing. So my dad called the college and the person who answered the phone said that Pomona had in fact received my common application and that the email was sent in error. My dad also faxed a copy of the common application just in case. Wow, has anyone else had such a screwed up experience?</p>

<p>if you look at this forum you’ll see countless complaints, you and i aren’t the only ones. unfortunate for pomona because they’re such a good school, but they seriously need to get their act together.</p>
<p>We had the same language problem. The woman who answered the phone was nice, but clearly not fully capable of answering questions and dealing with problems. Pomona is a wonderful school, but you’re right aot2007. They definitely need to get things straightened out. This certainly makes for an extremely stressful situation for applicants.</p>
