She scored well on the gre (1480) but she did not do well on the physics gre subject test. she wants to gain admission to an astronomy ph. d. program. How will a poor score on the subject test effect her ability to get into such a program?</p>
<p>How poor is poor? Most good programs have a hard cutoff in the low 600’s to 700 if it’s one of the best programs.</p>
