<p>Can a student produce portfolio quality pieces during a Pre College program such as SCAD or MICA?</p>
<p>Yes to both. D did both programs and didn’t include any SCAD pieces in her final college app portfolio but that was only because she did the SCAD program after 10th grade and was only there for one week. She did use SCAD pieces to get into MICA’s summer program for the next year and was given a discount on the strength of that portfolio. She’ll be starting at MICA next fall. :)</p>
