<p>Hi, I had a question regarding the Posee scholarship. Is it true that even if you dont make it all the way and become part of Posee, the other Posee schools (even the one not for your city) will recognize you as a Posee scholar?</p>
<p>It’s a bit late because the first round of interviews have already passed, but to answer your question, yes! </p>
<p>What POSSE does is they take the application of Finalists who were not admitted and have it sent out to all the POSSE schools, even those that aren’t in your city. Of course financial aid isn’t guaranteed at this point; however, there are many students that still get a generous financial package. </p>
<p>A friend of mine was a POSSE finalist but did not get into her top 3 colleges that she had ranked. but she did get into Grinnell with an awesome financial package. ;)</p>
<p>Oh ok. Well I made it to the semi-finialist round and have yet to have my interview. If I dont make it to finalist they dont send it to the other schools, only if im a finalist, right?</p>

<p>Hi ALEXOH. My daughter is Posse L.A. She had her semi-finalist interview last Thursday. She feels like she did her best so now … we wait. How far along in the process are you? What are your college choices? My daughter is looking at the small liberal arts colleges (LAC) Kalamazoo, Grinnell and Dickinson. Getting away from L.A. is NOT a problem for her!!</p>
<p>MAG325: Good Luck! My advice to you is be prepared but also very important to just relax and be yourself! My daughter said the interviewers were very nice and the office was cool, too. She was very comfortable.

Know something about how Posse came about and what their mission is.
Be ready to talk about times you’ve been a leader: at school, at home, at church, in your community - anything, anytime, anywhere!
They might want to hear about any challenges you overcame to continue your education and to do well in school.

<p>Well I don’t know what Posse city your from, but I am from Miami. And you dont receive a phone call its a letter and an email. UPenn heard back first on Wednesday. I heard back yesterday along with the others who chose Syracuse. Those who chose Mount Holyoke also heard back. Hamilton and Franklin & Marshall have yet to hear back. They did not announce everyone on one day.</p>

I need to the confirmation email, but I think it’s a great opportunity. It’s full tuition, and it’s only for undergraduate, it doesn’t really matter.
Since I would do engineering or computer science, I would be taking most classes at one of the five colleges.
Master is the one that matter, I’ll try going to MIT, Caltech, Berkley, or Stanford.

<p>Hi, I’m currently am posse finalist considering applying to some of the other 38 posse partner schools. Does anyone know of the typical admission for Posse Finalists? My ACT scores are relatively low but apparently Posse is highly respected in their finalist decisions.</p>
<p>I’m a posse scholar for LA. The admission rate for finalists is 50/50. I got called back within 2 hours of leaving my finalist interview. It was really fast.</p>
