<p>Both are correct. It really just depends on how you write. You can’t be penalized for something like that. I always learned that it’s just an apostrophe, but both are fine.</p>
<p>CB doesn’t care. If you’re talking about the essay, I myself would write “Illinois’s” just because then the apostrophe wouldn’t look like a stray mark and the possessive would be easier to notice for the examiner.</p>
