Possibilities for Admission into UCSD Bioengineering Program

<p>UCSD is my dream school so I’d appreciate it if you guys could let me know what kind of shape I’m in for admissions.</p>

<p>3.99 / 4.00 Unweighted GPA
4.30 UC GPA</p>

<p>Ranked 18th of 361</p>

<p>2250 SAT - 720 CR 800 MA 730 WR (Took it for the first and last time this March :slight_smile: )
217 PSAT - 73 CR 70 MA 74 WR (Most likely National Merit Scholar)</p>

<p>Taking subject tests soon, Math II, Chemistry, and Physics assuming at least 700s in each, hoping for 750s+</p>

  • PMEA Orchestra - Auditioned into District and Regional level this year, hoping for All-State next year
  • Performed La Boheme with an opera company in Philadelphia in the pit orchestra

<p>CA dad here. I hope someone knowledgeable will help you out on this question. I am just curious why you would be so interested in UCSD program being out of state and there are so many wonderful programs in east coast.</p>

<p>I can’t take any more of the cold and inland location. Going to high school in PA has been the most miserable experience and I think I would break if I had to stay in the region after I graduate</p>
