Possibility of being rescinded?

Hi, I got in ED to a big selective university last December. I am an international student but I go to a prep school in California. I didn’t apply for any aid.
So basically, my grades throughout high school have been pretty mediocre; my UW was around 3.57 in 10th grade and 3.62 in 11th grade. I always got around a B+ or A-. But in my fall trimester Senior year (my school has a trimester system), I improved a lot (5 As and 2 A-s: 3.9 UW for the trimester, 3.65 UW for my average GPA). However, after I got in, I am really slacking off and my midterms are horrible. They are:
English: A- to C (the end grade will probably be a C+ or possibly a B-, but might stay as a C)
AP Physics: A to A- (this will go down more, probably to a B or a B+)
AP Calc: A to B
AP Spanish: A- to B+ (this will go down more too)
AP Psychology: A to B+ (same as above)
AP Art: A
Jazz Ensemble: A
I don’t know if this is relevant but my intended major is Fashion Management
So my questions are:

  1. Is the drop bad? If so and the college contacts me, what should I do?
  2. For trimester based high schools, are both Winter and Spring grades sent to the colleges?
  3. If I apply for a gap year, is the college more likely to rescind me?

Thanks!

It’s very, very unlikely that one C will cause you to be rescinded, and drops from A to B are a non-factor.

Applying for a gap year will not at all cause you to be rescinded. It will have no impact on it, in fact.

ON PREVIEW: Some schools, esp UC’s and other state flagships, have specific GPA requirements, so if your school has those, do some research.
