Possibility of playing W Soccer @ Wellesley?

Here’s some information about me:
PSAT: 1950 (will improve, taking SAT in June)
4 AP Classes
3.98 GPA unweighted
I play goalkeeper (I’m 5’7")
Varsity Captain for upcoming season
All League MVP (as a junior)
All League 1st Team (soph. and jun.)
All State Honorable Mention (as a junior)
Currently playing on a nationally ranked club team that won Nationals a couple years ago

I would LOVE to attend and play soccer at Wellesley College in Boston, MA. I have already initiated contact with the coach. However, the recruiting process is not progressing and I’m worried that I will run out of time. I will be a senior this fall!! I’m working on getting a highlight reel together and I’m hoping to take a visit to Wellesley this summer but other than that, the coach doesn’t really have an opportunity to see me play.

Any advice or input would be greatly appreciated!

D3 moves at a different pace than D1. NCAA regulations have fairly strict guidelines as to when you can be contacted (even to have your phone call returned if you leave a message…). If you are able to get to the coach ask for a very frank assessment of their interest.

The highlight reel is very good, also have your club or HS coach make a call to speak with the Wellesley coach about you. Often they will both have a better feel (through experience) and be able to get more direct information than you might. Also, your coach can provide an insight into the intangibles–what sort of person, teammate–how coachable, how much “upside potential” that can’t be gleaned by your stats or even the highlight reel.

How has the recruiting gone so far? Would love to hear how the recruiting process worked for you and any insights and/or surprises you may have encountered. Thanks.
