You guys are wrong. I got accepted to SCS.

Proof, or it didn’t happen.

^uh…so how am I suppose to prove it? If you find my posts, I didn’t get my decision on Friday. Do you want a screen shot of my decision or what?

ok well most of them were waitlisted or rejects…

okay, one person out of a thousand. now the CMU adcom can say “we didn’t lie”.

Yes, that would constitute proof. Not 100% proof, mind you, since these things are easily photoshopped, but it would make your story a little bit more likely.

i think stupidkid is right.

at least now we can give warning to kids next year…

Here’s a post from Friday
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/1060057810-post10.html

Good enough?

Nice stats. No wonder you got in.

Fine… it doesn’t change the fact that you’re the only one out of about thirty or so people on this board to get accepted on the second wave.

Now, I know that this board isn’t exactly representative of everyone who applied, but the statistics are compelling.

i agree with fatfree… and stupidkid… have you seen your stats?? they would be crazy not to accept you

Thing is, it only takes one counter-example to disprove a theory.

yeah…look at the schools stupidkid already got into…

but its still mostly true…

What is that old saying?

An exception to the rule is only that, an exception. Nothing more.

That is not it exactly, but there is a proverb that goes along those lines. (and I believe it fits this case)
