Possible hooks?

<p>I’m wondering if any of these would somehow affect my college application, or even be counted as hooks.</p>

<p>-20,000-25,000 income
-Mentally ■■■■■■■■ brother
-Dad away 9/12 months of the year</p>

<p>I know they’re very picky but with admissions getting more competitive, is it worth putting these down or somehow mentioning them?</p>

<p>I would definately mention them somehow: How the money is probably very helpful but and trials you’ve gone through and learned from</p>
