I applied to Northwestern too. I’ve lived in SoCal since birth as well, but no longer have an intention to suffer the brutalities of East Coast weather. As I think about it more and more… I don’t think I could spend four years on the East Coast even if I didn’t get into USC. But we’ll see. raexmd, you’ll definitely appreciate what Los Angeles is like. Lately it’s been cold, but this winter we’ve enjoyed several weeks of 75 degree weather!

Hahaha cold? I don’t think you get cold. Last night it was ten degrees. And it snowed like a foot. I spent half an hour de-icing the crap off my car’s windshield. And then I slept with two comforters and an electric blanket because I don’t have enough body fat to keep me warm. sigh

I want Califorrrrniaaaaaa can we trade lives?

I know how it is raexmd, it was 18 degrees here in NY today, we had soooo much snow earlier this year its awful, I hope I get in to USC so badly.

cdr777. I feel you dude. Did you get that like 2 feet of snow that like dumped on the world? That was terrible.

this week no we only got like 3 inches but earlier in like i think early dec we got like 3-4 feet it was badddd lol

Yeah, that’s what I’m talking about. We get pretty much the same storms. During the big storm my dad and I went out in my Explorer and picked this woman up - she was a nurse and couldn’t get to the hospital. We had to drive for miles on abandoned freeways. It was absolutely nuts. People were sliding around and skidding everywhere…

ya skidding is terrible having an SUV here is great but i bet barely anyone drives them in cali lol
