I’ve already been accepted early decision to three good schools, but Notre Dame is my top choice and I applied RD.

My GPA is a 3.85, I have an 800 V, 730 W, 670 M on the SAT, 4 AP classes and a lot of ECs. I’m active in the Catholic church and have done a lot of volunteering in the community, played three varsity sports, had leading roles in drama/ singing productions, and am an officer in NHS. I am a white male and I’m not a legacy. Over all the semesters at my Catholic high school, I’ve made 34 As, 5 Bs, and 3 Cs (2 C+ in AP Chemistry and 1 C in Calculus).

Does anybody ever get in to ND with Cs? What are my chances?

Thanks!!

Its a tough call, you seemed very involved in your school and community life - I am sure people have gotten in with Cs - I mean your GPA is pretty good, so this might make up for it - how many do they actually see? They should only see semester grades, so maybe this helps.

Good Luck - remember it is not all about stats!

is the 3.85 W? how do you have 42 classes/are those term grades?

I would say maybe one C could slide, but not multiple

^I am thinking those are quarter grades - then maybe a couple Cs will disappear.

ehhhh it just depends if you can counter it with other elements of your application. i got a C last year in pre-calc and i got in early action but all my other grades were A’s
