Possible to get in without 3rd year of Foreign Language?

<p>i think it is possible. you dont need a 3rd year of foreign language, you can test out of it when you get here i think.</p>

<p>me too, i regret it though. you have to make it up by taking a foreign language class here. :frowning: boooooo.</p>

<p>But foreign language classes at Berkeley are amazing. You learn in one semester what high school students learn in two years.</p>

<p>I took SAT2chinese and get 760 in hs. That fulfilled hs grad requirement and UC foreign language requirement for me</p>

<p>I came from a community college, and I only took one year of foreign language…no one said i had to take more at berk so I don’t see why you’d need too at all! However, I think every IGETC is different from each cc, maybe mine was just particularly generous. lol</p>
