Possible to get over 650 in BIO by first-time studying?

I have taken regular bio in 9th grade, now I’m turning senior. I need a second subject to do well on b/c I bombed my physics (540). Is it very well possible to get over 650 by just studying one of the review books? Princeton or Barrons or w/e?

I believe that is very possible for you to score well into the 700’s with those review books. I used barrons and got a 790 but it does have a lot of extra info, which I dont mind. Many other people who have gotten a perfect score have reccomended PR because it gets straight to the point and its practice tests are the closest model to the actual sat II.

I took honors biology over two years ago and read the PR SAT Biology prep book a month before the June administration and got a 740 on Bio-E. It is very possible, but you really need to buckle down with PR to get that kind of score. Best wishes to you!

thank you guys

Furthermore, I spent about two hours everyday working on taking notes from PR for that month before the June administration; however, I did not dwell too much on human anatomy. Make sure you learn how the heart works, though (that’s important on the test). It was pretty tough going through that whole month of straight bio cramming, but for the 740, it was worth it, I believe.

read PR for like 20 minutes every day before the test

I used just PR to study, and it was pretty good. Make sure you study the human body- I kind of skipped over it while studying because I thought I knew it, but there was a lot of that on the test.

thank you guys!!
