Possible to have low SAT score and a high ACT score?

Possible to have low SAT score and a high ACT score?

It’s very possible. More common than what you might think. A lot of people might score low on one and high on another. I got a 30 on my ACT(Above average) and 1830 on my SAT, I did better on the ACT than the SAT.

do you have to send both to colleges?

No, you can choose which one you want to send, colleges generally don’t care which one they get.

Yes, it is certainly possible and vise versa. I however recieved about the same on the act/sat (29/2020). You should definitley take the act if you think the sat isn’t right for you.

Very possible. I couldn’t even get higher than a 1700 on SAT’s but a 32 on the ACT which is like a 2130

:)

You only have to send one to colleges, although some colleges prefer one over the other. You would have to check with the college. My son did way better on the ACT than the SAT. Got 1890 on the SAT but 31 on the ACT which is equivalent to a 2060 or something like that. He felt the ACT tested more of what he learned at school. If you do well on tests in school, you will do well on the ACT usually.

Yeah; I got a 2150 on my SAT (215 on my PSAT) and a 35 on my ACT, which is like mid-2300’s, I believe…
