Possible to transfer from CSU to UCSC?

<p>How difficult is it to transfer from a CSU to UCSC? I have heard that transfers from CCs have first guarantee but what about CSU students? Do UCs even accept CSU student transfers?</p>

<p>UCSC does accept transfer students from CSUs, but you have to be under a certain number of units. I can’t really speak to difficulty, though.</p>

<p>If you still have time to switch, go to a CCC for awhile first. I believe you then are classified as a CCC transfer. However, you need to read the fine print on this (or see a CCC counselor.) Like said before, be sure to watch your max units since you will have a combo of 4year college units and CCC units and going over a certain number disqualifies you from transferring to any UC. </p>

<p>CSU to UC transfer is not top priority these days, so while it happens it is not a sure thing.</p>
