Hello All –

My name is Luke. I currently go to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) for Software Engineering. I have a 3.5 GPA and am on Deans List. I got a 1860 SAT score in high school. I am currently a member of the National Society of Black Engineers (can’t hurt, right?).

I’m heavily involved in research – for two years, I worked at the University of Rochester Laboratory for Laser Energetics as a developer in high school. I published a paper with the Graduate Computer Science director at RIT my second quarter, and I am currently writing another paper with the Computing Information Sciences PHD program on mobile development.

I was thinking about transferring to a different institution, like Carnegie Mellon. I’ve even thought about Berkeley a few times. I hope I have provided all the information to make a semi-informed estimate as to what my chances are for these schools. To anyone willing to help, thank you.
