Hello,

Currently I am a student at Purdue University with an engineering major. I took the normal classed involved with the Freshman Engineering program (very rigorous), but did not end with a very high GPA. Quite frankly, it’s quite low - 2.7. I have decided to not do engineering anymore because once I have stepped into the actual engineering classes (non gen-eds), I have not enjoyed them. My next best bet was Computer Science and I know that UMD has a very good CS program. I was wondering my chances of getting into the school as a transfer - both in the spring and fall.

GPA: 2.7 (‘A’ in freshman English)
