Environ Sci, Policy, and Management C107 with a course materials fee of $3,647!!! But you get to on on a field trip to a French Polynesian Island.

Whoa. . . .

You taking it?

I wish I could
but financially I cannot.

what’s the class about?

“Natural history and evolutionary biology of island terrestrial and freshwater organisms, and of marine organisms in the coral reef and lagoon systems will be studied, and the geomorphology of volcanic islands, coral reefs, and reef islands will be discussed. Features of island biogeography will be illustrated with topics linked to subsequent field studies on the island of Moorea (French Polynesia).”

That’s all I know… but the field studieS (<- note extra s) means lots of field trips!!!

That sounds so cool! But is the class difficult? Is it difficult to get an A? Cause I so want to take that class just for the trips =]

you have many weeks to go from pass not pass to letter grade, and a few more to go the other way (letter grade to p/np).

I found another course, scientific diving, that has ~$100 course materials fee, but you have to go buy/rent your scuba equipment that costs 100s upward. whoa! one of the perks is that you get to dive into the monterey bay aquarium.
