i’m paranoid coz of my GPA and class rank; whatya think?

thanks in advance; I know these threads are annoying.

Freshman year is the single most important thing that admissions committees look at. Looks like you’re out of luck, buddy. I would suggest applying to Princeton or Hogwarts because they don’t look at freshman year.

i disagree with elweezer…it looks like you have an ok chance…not great…but i would say 50%…

LOL, I was kidding. Way to be a tool.

you kidding with a 1460 this guy is in for sure

you’re in ;)

jt r u serious? take a look at the mid sat range of fresh class . u r over 200 points above it . and u help sick people u r in

btw, is your high school coming to UF for GatorMUN???

GatorMUN???

Of course, none of us are admissions officers so there aren’t guarantees- but your stats qualify you for admissions into the honors program at UF (4.0+ Weighted and 1400+ SAT), so you’re chances are GREAT. Did you get any information sent to you on the honors program? I can’t remember when they send that stuff.

Also, my advice for prospective students is to recalculate your GPA the way they do it at UF- only academic classes, +.5 for honors, +1.0 for AP. Some students find their GPAs go UP when they take out the non-honors, non-academic classes.

Congratulations on your good work! Good luck!

Oh, and congratulations also on your AP work too- if you keep doing like you have been, you’ll be a National AP Scholar.

do you think going to their summer journalism camp would do any good?
