So i applied to 10 schools, a few reach and 2 safety’s that im sure of getting into (URI and Salve) but I really do not want to go to either of my safety’s. The reach schools that i applied to were the University of Washington Seatlle, U Michican, and U Wisconsin. Im pretty sure i’ll get denied from all of them sadly. The other match schools I applied to were UCONN, Penn State, UMASS Amhearst, UVM, UDEL and I feel like I would only be happy going to UCONN or Penn State. I’ve applied EA to all my schools for their nursing programs, besides uconn because they don’t offer EA. I am so so worried and distraught over the cnace of getting denied from uconn or PSU university park. Do I have a chance? should I applied to more safties? please help.
-3.8 GPA (my junior year GPa was 4.5)
-1190 on new sat
15 honors courses, 4 AP classes - Gov, Human Geo, Stat, Psych
-my essay was about my fathers heart attack and my transformation from child to adult with my academic career and morals
-very involved at school- about 6 clubs, captain of lax for my senior year, wrestling manager, multiple awards for raising money for causes
– also does it help that my brother is currently a junior in uconns nursing program???
