Wondering, what about after a BArch? Instead of continuing on to a MArch what other grad degrees might be good. I’m thinking business, management, marketing???

The degree that gets you something you are looking for.

There is no magical combination that will guarantee you happiness and a big salary. Grad school is about having questions or areas you wish to explore and choosing to take the time and position yourself at a place where you may do so, not about getting a graduate degree for the sake of it.

yeah, theses required to get a masters often require hours upon hours of research and study…

take something you will be interested, something you are passionate and spend time in that area of interest.

Good thoughts. I’m not even an undergrad yet (hopefully by August!), and who knows how that will turn out. Sorta kicking around ideas I can check into as I make my way.
Thanks,

Well, if you graduate and you’re still not sure, then get a job. I worked for two and a half years before going back for grad school after my B.Arch (now getting an MFA), and most of the people I know getting post-professional degrees spent time in the workforce as well. The average age of a graduate student is higher than you probably think, so don’t worry about figuring it out: if grad school even makes sense for you, then you’ll realize one day what it is you want to be studying in grad school and seek out programs that will let you do so.
